Medical facilities, law enforcement agencies, laboratories, prosecuting attorneys, and survivors all have access to Track-Kit™. Track-Kit™ provides the ability to track the status and location of a sexual assault evidence kit. Track-Kit™ ensures that statutory requirements are met under the Sexual Assault Evidence Submission Act (the Act), MCL 752.931 et seq., through an annual compliance report. The developers of Track-Kit™ were the successful bidder. After the recommendations were made, there was an extensive proposal process.
